What Are the Libs Up to Now?
This nutcase never ceases to spew utter nonsense. AOC’s latest buffoonery is her calling America “A Brutal Barbarian Society.”
I’m trying to type here but it’s hard because I’m laughing so hard.
It’s so obvious this nitwit has never travelled to areas of the world that actually are brutal and barbaric.
On the other hand I have been in some spots of the world which are indeed beyond barbaric.
This is such a common theme among these young clueless liberals. They really think that America is the worst ever.
I know better than to tell them to join the military and spend some time in these pockets of brutality around the world. But hey young libs, there’s always the Peace Corp or other similar organizations.
Have a little backbone and volunteer. You’ll come back with a new appreciation of how good we have it here in the US.
It still baffles the mind that she actually is a member of congress…just wow.
The Trump Agenda
Remember when Joe Biden bashed Trump for the Chinese travel ban on January 31st?
In fact, he made it a big point to call Trump xenophobic!
On Friday, Biden’s deputy campaign manager Kate Bedingfield told CNN that Joe Biden now “supports” President Trump’s January 31 decision to ban travel from China due to the Coronavirus. This is after more than TWO MONTHS of Biden calling Trump “racist” for doing so!
“Joe Biden supports travel bans that are guided by medical experts, advocated by public health officials, and backed by a full strategy,” Bedingfeld said. “Science supported this ban, therefore he did too.”
Too little, too late Joe and thank goodness you’re not in charge right now!
Stock futures inch up as oil slips down.
U.S. stock futures posted gains on Sunday, recovering from last week’s losses and brushing off a drop in oil.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average saw a jump of over 700 points or 3.4 percent at 11:30 a.m. ET. The S&P 500 rising 3.4 percent and Nasdaq up 3.6 percent.
President Trump, during the coronavirus task force briefing, noted some areas saw a stabilization of cases. The number of worldwide coronavirus cases now numbers1.2 million as of Sunday afternoon with fatalities at 68,148.
U.S. crude traded down 4 percent, trimming early losses of 6 percent on reports OPEC is said to have postponed its Monday emergency meeting, pushed out to mid-April.
For the week, stocks fell across the board as the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases crossed 1 million globally. The Dow fell 2.7 percent while the S&P lost 2.1 percent and the Nasdaq slid 1.7 percent.
Investors partly reacting to rising unemployment. The Labor Department said on Friday that the U.S. economy lost 701,000 nonfarm jobs in March as the unemployment rate climbed to 4.4 percent. Wall Street economists surveyed by Refinitiv were anticipating a loss of 100,000 jobs and an unemployment rate of 3.8 percent.
Hmm, That Makes Your Think
Some people are taking coronavirus cautions to the extreme!
Panic-buying has kicked up a gear as desperate shoppers emptied shelves of essentials in anticipation of self-isolating – but Corona beer didn’t make the cut.
Other branded beers appear to be selling out but the Mexican lager, whose name bears an unfortunate resemblance to the virus behind Covid-19, was still well-stocked in many stores.
So there you have it, anything that starts with ‘corona’ seems to be taboo now…even beer!
