Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) responded to President Donald Trump’s criticism of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by saying it was “terrible and not helpful.” Scott added that it was “not the best way to start off January in Israel.” Scott’s comments came in response to Trump’s announcement that he may take a “different approach” to foreign policy with regard to Israel.
