Worldcoin, the fast-growing cryptocurrency payments technology company, has announced that its World App has hit one million Monthly Active Users (MAU) just six months after launching. Launched in February 2021, the World App is the flagship product of the Worldcoin Platform and is an all-in-one mobile financial app, which allows users to easily purchase and store major cryptocurrencies, send and receive international payments, and pay bills in the local currency of their choice. Through the World App, users can also open and manage their Worldcoin digital bank account.
The last 6 months have been a period of rapid growth and adoption for Worldcoin’s innovative cryptocurrency financial services. Last month, Worldcoin surpassed 1 million app downloads across Android and iOS. And now, the app has surpassed 1 million MAU, achieving 100k new MAU in the last 30 days.
