Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden both recognize that they will need to focus on their records in office and unite the entire country in order to ensure re-election in 2024. Harris has expressed that as two leaders who have taken oaths to serve a divided nation, they have to build bridges, restore trust, and spearhead the critical conversations that the country needs to have in order to bring citizens together. Additionally, Harris has highlighted the White House’s intention to build and invest in the economy, prioritize healthcare, and promote an equitable, inclusive, and “bigger, diverse” vision of America.
