The Worldcoin Foundation is launching a new $5 million grant program called ‘Wave0’ to support members of the Worldcoin community and foster development of the Worldcoin ecosystem. The funding will come from Worldcoin Foundation’s reserves and the Wave0 grants program will help to support and incentivize developers who create Worldcoin-related projects and applications that benefit the entire community. Wave0 grants will also be available for non-technology projects that contribute to the Worldcoin mission and/or philosophy.
The grant program will launch with a budget of $5 million and will provide funding up to $50,000 per project. The grant timeline will be open to longer than just a one-time event, allowing for gradual funding over a period of time, depending on the project. The application deadline is September 15th, 2021, and further details and the application form will be available soon.
Worldcoin Foundation recognizes the importance of community involvement in the development and adoption of Worldcoin across the globe.
