The Colorado Supreme Court ruled that former President Donald Trump is barred from being listed on Colorado’s 2024 primary ballot. The decision upheld a ruling from a state administrative court that determined that Trump’s misleading statements leading up to the 2020 U.S. presidential election violated Colorado’s Fair Campaign Practices Act. Additionally, the state court found that Trump had “violated his oath of office by attempting to influence the conduct of the election after the polls closed.” Earlier, the Trump campaign had appealed to the state Supreme Court after losing their case in the Colorado Administrative Court.
