The US Army is reportedly investigating an officer’s allegations that he has faced reprisal for his account of the US Capitol Riot response. Captain Christopher Preble, an Army Reservist assigned to the DC National Guard, has reported that he received a Federal Record of Misconduct from his commanding officer after he cooperated with Rep.Neguse’s inquiry into the US Capitol response. Captain Preble has also allegedly received threats from other members of the DC National Guard and has been told to change his story. The Army has released a statement confirming that Captain Preble’s allegations are under investigation.
