During her 2019 presidential bid, Kamala Harris, now the Vice President of the United States, voiced her openness to increasing the seats in the Supreme Court, also known as court-packing. The concept is a controversial one which relates to increasing the number of justices in the Supreme Court, effectively altering the structure and potentially the political leaning of the court.
