Biden ripped Obama as having ‘no grace’ in 2010 email after Hunter suggested plagiarism

In 2010, former Vice President Joe Biden had critical words for his boss, then-President Barack Obama, in an email thread when Hunter Biden suggested that his father might have plagiarized a speech given at a dinner.

According to a report by Axios, which obtained the email, Hunter wrote to his sister and mother that “Biden’s speech today was almost exact same as Obama’s.”

Joe Biden’s response to his son’s comment was, “Not even close. He has no grace.”

The exchange indicates Biden was aware of Obama’s precise phrasing and took offense to the idea of plagiarism, which he clearly condemned as himself and his family.

It is unclear what speech Obama had given in comparison to Biden’s.
