The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a voluntary recall of more than 300,000 air fryers sold at Walmart, Target and Kohl’s due to a potential burn hazard. The recall involves seven air fryer models by Classic Cuisine, including the 2.2, 3.4, 4, 5.3, 5.5, 6.5 and 8-quart air fryers. The air fryers can overheat and catch fire, posing a burn hazard to consumers. The CPSC says the firm has received five reports of the air fryers catching fire, although no injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately stop using the air fryers and return them for a full refund.
