That’s a difficult question to answer because so much depends on the candidates’ personalities, policies, and unique appeal. Currently, there seem to be a few candidates receiving attention, such as former New Mexico governor and Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee Jill Stein. However, other third-party candidates, such as independent conservative Evan McMullin could also gain traction. Ultimately, only time will tell who will catch on and who will fade away.
