Nikki Haley has momentum, but can she pass DeSantis to take on Trump?

It is highly unlikely that Nikki Haley would pass DeSantis to take on President Trump in a primary election. While she certainly has momentum as a well-known former Governor of South Carolina and current U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, she is relatively new to the national political scene and lacks the star power and widespread name recognition that Trump, DeSantis, and other high-profile Republicans have. Additionally, DeSantis has close ties to the President and appeal among hardline Trump supporters, making it difficult for Haley to gain enough support to challenge him.
