On Thursday, NBC News senior political analyst Jean-Pierre Danno was asked about a possible staff shakeup in Joe Biden’s campaign following recent polling showing Biden trailing President Donald Trump in the polls. In his response, Danno was visibly uncomfortable, offering only a terse, “No comment,” before quickly changing the subject. Danno went on to say that the “most important thing” for the campaign is to “stay the course.” While he acknowledged that Biden’s campaign could “tweak” certain components in order to better address the challenges it faces, Danno stressed that it is “important to have structure and discipline and consistency” as the campaign moves towards Election Day.
