Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley have both pledged to pardon President Donald Trump if he is convicted of any criminal charges associated with the Russia investigation. In recent interviews, both governors have gone on record saying that they are willing to pardon Trump should the situation arise. While Haley did not specify under what circumstances she would grant a pardon or whether it would be for federal or state crimes, DeSantis has publicly said that he would pardon any federal criminal convictions that Trump might face. It is unclear if either Governor would pardon Trump for any possible state criminal charges.
