Progressive Democrats aren’t turning activism into election wins

While it’s true that many progressive Democrats have been unsuccessful in some recent elections, they have continued to make significant strides in other areas. For instance, they’ve initiated essential dialogues on issues like climate change, healthcare, and wealth disparity. The focus on these issues has resulted in policy proposals like the Green New Deal and Medicate for All.

It’s worth noting that election wins are not the only indicator of success in political activism. Change can be slow, and it’s often seen over an extended period. The growing influence of progressive Democrats shows that their efforts are indeed making a difference. Nevertheless, translating this influence into electoral victories may require more strategizing, stronger grassroots movements, and an even larger focus on issues that resonate with the majority of voters.
